Our mission

We exist to glorify God through daily prayer, hospitality, and practical charity—especially through the formation of nuns and works of mercy among vulnerable neighbors. In recent years, the monastery has grown steadily: multiple sisters have been tonsured here with the blessing and presence of hierarchs of the Church, and an abbess was formally appointed during the Patriarch of Alexandria’s pastoral visit to Uganda.

What your donation can do

• $25 provides a week of basic foodstuffs for the convent kitchen.

• $50 helps with school-related support for a vulnerable child.

• $100 contributes to chapel maintenance and liturgical needs.

• $250 sustains a month of utilities and transport for outreach visits.

Accountability & stewardship

The sisters live simply and account for all gifts toward mission priorities—formation, mercy, and sustainability. Updates (feast-day services, tonsurings, outreach) are shared through official Orthodox news and the Metropolis’ communications.
